Initial consultations are $30 and are required before enrolling in a training program.
If you enroll in a program within one week of your consultation, the consultation fee will be credited toward your program cost.

Puppy Foundations

Therapy Dog Preparation
Helping teams prepare to make a difference.
Therapy dogs bring comfort, support, and connection to their communities. This program focuses on the manners, confidence, and handler skills needed to prepare for therapy dog evaluations and visits.
Please note: Dogs should demonstrate a strong foundation in basic obedience and everyday manners before enrolling in Therapy Dog Foundations. If additional foundation work is needed, completion of our Everyday Manners program may be recommended before enrollment.

Tune-Up Lessons and Continuations

Whether you're looking to maintain your dog's skills, work through new challenges, or continue progressing toward your goals, Steady Strides offers flexible options to support your training journey.
Tune-Up Lessons
Need a refresher or help with a specific behavior? Tune-Up Lessons are ideal for addressing one or two training goals, reinforcing previously learned skills, or preparing for a new challenge.

Continuation Programs
Continuation Programs are designed for current or previous Steady Strides clients who want ongoing support after completing their initial training package.
Whether you're building on your dog's foundation, strengthening reliability around distractions, or continuing your service dog training, these packages provide consistent guidance while allowing your training plan to evolve with your goals.
Available continuation programs include:
Companion Continuation – Five 60-minute lessons for companion dogs continuing their training journey. $500
Puppy Continuation - Five 60-minute lessons for puppies continuing their development and socialization. $500
An Initial Consultation is required for new clients. Continuation Programs are available to existing clients or by trainer recommendation.
