At Steady Strides Canine Training, we help individuals train their own service dogs through personalized, one-on-one instruction. Every training plan is tailored to the unique needs of both the handler and the dog, with an emphasis on building reliable skills, confidence, and a strong working partnership.

Every Service Dog Program begins with an Initial Consultation to determine whether the program is the right fit for you and your dog.

Our Service Dog Program is intended for individuals who are training a dog to perform work or tasks that directly mitigate the effects of a disability.
Because not every dog is suited for service work, each team is carefully evaluated throughout the training process. We prioritize the well-being of both the handler and the dog and strive to set every team up for long-term success.
